DailyTech has a feature story on an Apple Mac Pro running2 Quad-Core Clovertown processors with the resulting system running on 8 processorcores flawlessly. No BIOS updates nor no pin-hacks or anything exotic was neededto get the yet unannounced processors to work in the Mac Pro. The Mac Pro isdifferent from normal Desktop Systems as it uses server processors as opposedto desktop processors, which gives it the adaptability for Clovertowns. Perhapsmore readers are familiar with the desktop variant which goes by Kentsfield(Also Quad-Core), which is slated to be launched at the end of 2006.
